Spinal Solutions Health and Wellness is a faith-based, family-owned chiropractic practice at
276 Paseo Reyes Dr in St. Augustine, Florida, founded in 2021 by
Dr. Derek Sisak, DC. Two licensed chiropractic physicians treat spine, joint and sports-related
pain with adjusting, non-surgical decompression, shockwave therapy and rehabilitation, and the
practice holds 5.0 stars from 166 Google reviews.
Dr. Sisak was a high school basketball captain, two weeks out from the biggest game of his season,
when radiating spinal pain flattened him. A local chiropractor found the cause and he was back on
the court inside two weeks. That experience, of somebody finding the actual problem rather than
managing the symptom, is what he has been chasing for other people since.
He practised in St. Johns County for about two years before opening Spinal Solutions in
2021. It has stayed a family-owned practice, and the doctors treat their own families
in it.
How we practise
After a thorough examination and discussion of your symptoms, health history and lifestyle, we
create a personalized treatment plan designed to address the underlying cause of your pain, not
just the symptoms.
In practice that means three fixed rules. Nothing goes on a table before an exam. You are shown
what we found and why it explains what you feel, before you decide anything. And when the answer
is not us, you get told so and pointed somewhere better, which happens often enough to be worth
saying out loud.
We approach each patient differently, because two patients with the same diagnosis may respond
differently to the same treatment.

Questions people ask about us
Who owns Spinal Solutions Health and Wellness?
Dr. Derek Sisak, DC, founded the practice in 2021 and owns it. It is a faith-based, family-owned practice with one location, at 276 Paseo Reyes Dr in St. Augustine, Florida.
How long has Spinal Solutions been in St. Augustine?
The practice opened in 2021, which makes it 5 years in St. Johns County. Dr. Sisak had been practising in the area for about two years before opening it.
Are the chiropractors licensed?
Yes. Both Dr. Derek Sisak and Dr. Adam Marogil are licensed chiropractic physicians in the State of Florida. Florida licences are publicly searchable, and the credentials section on this page links to the state verification tool so you can check for yourself.
What makes this practice different from other chiropractors in St. Augustine?
Three things, concretely: equipment most local clinics do not have on site (a DRX9000 decompression table, an OmniWave shockwave device, digital X-ray), Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 3 certification for golf performance work, and an exam that happens before any treatment is recommended rather than after.
Is there a massage therapist on staff?
No. Nobody at Spinal Solutions is a licensed massage therapist and we do not offer massage. Amy Vanover is a rehabilitation assistant. What we provide is clinical soft tissue treatment delivered by the treating chiropractor as part of a care plan.
Do you see children and pregnant patients?
Yes, both, with technique adapted for each. Prenatal care uses gentle, pregnancy-safe positioning. Pediatric care is limited to musculoskeletal complaints, with anything medical referred to the child’s pediatrician.
