Your first visit
New Patients
Everyone starts the same way: an examination, then a findings review, then a decision. Nothing goes on a table before we know what is wrong, and you see the plan and its cost before you commit to any of it.
What actually happens
- 01 Before you arrive
Book by phone or through the form. Allow 30 to 45 minutes: a first visit includes a full examination and a findings review, not just treatment.
- 02 Consultation
We go through your symptoms, health history, past injuries and surgeries, and what your days actually involve. Most of what explains a problem comes out here rather than on the table.
- 03 Examination
Full orthopedic and neurological testing, and a look at how you move. Digital imaging happens on site if it is clinically necessary, and not by default.
- 04 Findings review
You are shown what we found and why it explains what you are feeling, along with what it takes to fix it and what that costs. You decide after that, not before.
- 05 A trial session, if it is appropriate
Where your findings suit it, a trial shockwave or red light therapy session on the same visit, so you feel what the equipment does before committing to a course. Plus the custom recovery plan you take home. If we are not the right people, that is what you get told instead.
What to bring
- Photo ID
- Your insurance card, if you have one
- Any recent imaging or reports about this problem
- A list of medications you take
- Clothing you can move in
- For a car accident: the claim number and your insurer’s details
Being well prepared for your appointment means the doctor has what is needed to give you the best possible care, and it takes some of the uncertainty out of a first visit.
How payment works
- PIP and personal injury. Florida auto injury cases handled and documented for your claim.
- Medicare Part B. Covers manual spinal manipulation to correct a subluxation. We will tell you plainly what falls outside it.
- Care plans and wellness plans. In-house plans for ongoing and preventive care.
- Financing available. CareCredit, for care you would rather not delay.
Medicare has a specific and often misunderstood boundary here, and it is worth reading what Medicare covers for chiropractic services before your visit. We name no commercial carrier because none is confirmed; ask about yours and you will get a straight answer.
What patients say
5.0 from 166 Google reviewsWe hold 166 five-star reviews across every kind of care in this practice. Rather than pick one that is not about this treatment, here is the whole profile, unedited.
Where to find us
The clinic sits at 276 Paseo Reyes Dr in St. Augustine, Florida, just off U.S. 1 at World Golf Parkway, near the entrance to the Palencia neighborhood. Most people coming in for a first visit drive in from across St. Johns County, and the office is a straight run up or down U.S. 1 from either end of it.

- World Golf Village
- Nocatee
- Ponte Vedra
- Julington Creek
- Downtown St. Augustine
Where you might end up
You do not need to pick a treatment before booking, and we would rather you did not. The examination decides which of these four sides of the practice you belong in, and sometimes the answer is none of them.
Questions new patients ask
What is included in the $47 evaluation?
A one-on-one doctor consultation, full orthopedic and neurological testing, digital imaging if it is clinically necessary, a detailed findings review, a trial shockwave or red light therapy session where appropriate, and a custom recovery plan.
How long does the first visit take?
Plan on 30 to 45 minutes. The consultation and examination are the bulk of it, and the findings review needs enough time for you to ask questions and get real answers. Allow for that rather than booking it against something tight.
Will I be treated on the first visit?
Often yes, where the findings support it and you want to go ahead. What will not happen is treatment before the examination. If the exam says the problem is not ours, you leave with a referral instead of a plan.
Does Medicare cover my visit?
Medicare Part B covers manual manipulation of the spine to correct a subluxation. It does not cover the examination, X-rays, or most therapies. That distinction catches people out, so we go through it before care starts rather than after a bill arrives.
Do I need a referral?
No. Chiropractic physicians in Florida are direct-access providers, so you can book without a referral. If your case needs a medical opinion or a specialist, we will tell you and refer you.
What if I cannot afford a full course of care?
Say so at the findings review and you will get options rather than a sales push: in-house care plans, wellness plans, and CareCredit financing. You will also be told which parts of a plan matter most, so a partial plan is at least the right partial plan.
